"You only live once" is honestly a quote that most people take for granted. If you take the time to really understand what it means, it could change your life. You'd start to focus on the things and people that truly matter, and let go of things that are simply a waste of time. To understand what I mean, do take the time to listen to this episode. I think this is something you shouldn't pass.

In a world where being in a relationship is often romanticised and being single is always associated with negative impressions, not everyone is good at being on their own because it's difficult in so many ways. Versus being in a relationship, which is way more easier because having a partner feels secure and you can always fall back to them for almost anything. Whereas being single, you have no one but yourself. Questions such as self-value and attraction comes to mind, leading to insecurity and all sorts of self-esteem issues. Of course, being single can feel super lonely but if you master the art of being on your own, I promise you it can be a superpower. To all my singles out there, this one's for you! Hold on, if you're currently in a relationship I also got something for ya. Get on it, press play xx

This episode is dedicated to those who've always wanted to create content but haven't because of the many reasons and excuses you tell yourself like inda cukup equipment tia, camera inda tarang tia, waiting for the right time tia.. macam-macam lah alasan ani. Well this is a sign for you, whoever you are, to start. But of course I'm also gonna be real with you because what really happens after you finally post or publish your first content? You're not gonna end up on E! News that's for sure cause I think it's no longer on air LOL. Reddit Brunei maybe but that's unless you did something outrageous. Anyway, starting out can be lonely especially if you're a one-man show and it can be discouraging especially when you have high expectations and depend solely on likes, views, comments, to measure the quality and success of your content. But I'm here to tell you that content creation is a journey - how do you expect to arrive at your destination if haven't even set sail yet? If this hits the right spot, press play x

Last year, I had a completely different picture as to how this year would look like. In Nov '22, I applied for a scholarship and after confidently submitting my application, I was convinced I would be in Busan, Korea for the most of 2023 attending film school but life came right at me and said, JOKES ON YOU!!! I even declined a corporate job offer because in my heart and soul I really believed I would get it. After news broke that I didn't even make the first screening, it left me devastated and made me question if that was the universe telling me I should give up on my dreams. I was forced to let go of something I wanted so bad. Recent events also forced me into letting go of a situation that again, left me questioning myself and this time, the existence of this podcast. But 'letting go' is a recurring theme in our lives and for me personally embracing that fact is a work in progress because it's not easy to let go of something, or someone. If ya feel me, press play xx

After a much needed 2-week break, I am back! Today I talk about something I'm sure a lot of people experience and that is being told to "bersyukur dengan apa yang ada" every single time we suggest doing something regardless of what it is. The word "syukur" means gratitude or feeling grateful and is such a powerful word but I feel like it's being thrown around so casually by some people out of convenience sake, making it less meaningful. Why? And what's the difference between "bersyukur" and "syukur-syukur saja"? Could we be living in a culture of being complacent? Only one way to find out... PRESS PLAY!

WE REACHED 10 F***ING EPISODES!!! This is honestly the most committed I've been to a personal project and again, I can never say it enough; TQSM for sticking around and coming back every single week ;')
In this episode I open up about something I went through and if you failed to guess from the title.. a one-sided friendship. Spoiler alert, I'm totally over it but I wanna talk about how to deal with situations like this when it can affect your self-esteem and make you question your worth as a friend and as a person. Rejection hurts and it can lead to negative emotions such as resentment, if you let it linger on for too long. So what are you waiting for?! Get cozy and press play!

Ever heard of a company motto that sounds like "WE ARE FAMILY"?? If I were you, I'd scram the heck outta there! Ok not really, it depends on the circumstances. Smaller companies like to practice family-like culture in their workplace, sometimes on purpose and other times it just happens because of the bond between colleagues. Of course, like everything else there are benefits and drawbacks to this and this is what today's episode is all about! Join me as I explore the pros and cons of family-like culture in the workplace, what red flags to look out for, and ways to maintain boundaries to ensure you don't fall into the trap of the WE ARE FAMILIA cult.

FIRST EPISODE OF THE YEAR!!! This week's episode is inspired by the hot topic Hollywood is currently having about nepotism so I wanna share my take on it with a Bruneian twist. According to r/Brunei, nepotism is prevalent in Brunei -- but is it really? I understand how nepotism can affect some people but how does it impact our society? Is nepotism always bad? I share 3 reasons why I think a lot of people believe nepotism is highly practiced. This episode only covers nepotism at the workplace or else I could go on and on! Get cozy and press play!

A recent quote I saw on someone's instagram story sparked a thought in my head and I juuuust have to talk about it. The quote says "YOUR FRIENDS WON'T START SUPPORTING YOU UNTIL STRANGERS START CELEBRATING YOU". This is mostly felt by business owners who are starting out and feel like it would be nice if their friends show support by buying their products, or spread the word on Instagram, etc. BUT what if they don't? Does that mean they are a bad friend? Is that a red flag we should look out for in a friendship? Are they even your friend if they're not supportive?? I may have an unpopular opinion, idk you tell me! Press play and let me know what you think.
